Current beta safety features are mostly deterministic map, terrain, weather, and avalanche-forecast tools. Advanced assessment is unavailable during beta. Any future assessment feature will be presented as supporting information, not a decision maker.

GPS location is used only for:
When location sharing is enabled, the server stores only your latest shared position and returns it only to the audience you selected. The app treats shared locations as fresh for only a short query window, currently about 5 minutes. We do not build a movement history from these updates.
Local-only app data is stored in your browser or installed app storage. Server-side account, sharing, route, run, pin, profile, feedback, and location-sharing data is stored in the skimo.pro backend database. We do not sell personal data.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This removes your server-stored user record, latest shared location, messages, group memberships, groups you created, friend requests, photos, ski lines, runs, routes, waypoints, shared pins, condition pins, feedback, beta feedback, and user profile. Local data such as cached map tiles and browser/app storage can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing site data.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Use the in-app account deletion feature or the beta feedback form.
